In order to have a mooring in the pond, you will need a mooring permit from the Southampton Town Trustees office. Maximum Vessel length for a mooring is 26 feet.CLICK HERE To download the mooring permit form.
1. FLOATING MOORING: Please contact the LPYC Commodore for availability of mooring placement PRIOR to applying for and obtaining a Mooring Permit from the Southampton Town Trustees office.
2. DOCK SLIP: Maximum vessel length is 24 feet and maximum beam width is 8' 6". Both will be verified by on site measurement. The LPYC strongly recommends that members contact the LPYC Commodore PRIOR to purchasing a new boat for a dock slip, to review the boat's specifications.
3. BEACH STAKE: Maximum boat length must be under 20 feet. To be on the waiting list for a Beach Stake, you must first contact the LPYC Commodore for availability, then apply for a Mooring Permit at the office of the Southampton Town Trustees.
